It's hard to be a little guy on your own in this world. Nobody cared about this puppy or how he was going to survive on his own in the middle of winter. He was spotted running with another sibbling trying to fend for themselves. A kind man was able to catch one of the puppies who took refuge on his porch. The other sibling's fate is unknown.

| 'I guess I need a home! The nice man that found me said he couldn't keep me. He gave me food and water and waited a couple days to see if my owner would come looking for me. No one did. I didn't know what to do, but I appreciated this man looking out for me and bringing me to PAWS.'

| 'The people at PAWS put me in one of cat cages because I was too little to be with the big dogs at the shelter. I didn't mind too much even though I think I'm a big dog in a puppy suit. I got a lot of extra attention from everyone.'

'I made a lot of cat friends at the shelter. One of my favorites was a cat named Andy. He would come and lay by my cage. Andy is a special needs cat that has some neurological problems so he can't walk very well. Sometimes I would get loney and I liked Andy keeping me company. He didn't seem to mind my puppy yapping.'
