For being a good listener when I rambled on and on or told those stupid jokes, you understood..............................
For keeping me company on those days I just didn't feel like myself and was sick in bed, you knew just what I needed, you understood..................
For putting up with all the silly hats,the birthday presents, Mr. Scarecrow, and some Santa guy, you somehow understood......................
For being my best companion and enjoying life with me, you always understood..............................
....and when we meet at the Rainbow Bridge, I'll be looking for you so that we can cross over together, and finally, at last play our favorite game of fetch, or take a long walk in the field...................................
