"It's a hard life being a kitten sometimes!" Little Cupid (formerly known at PAWS as Klein) and been brought into the shelter after being found on the side of the road. We could only guess that his back leg injury had been caused by being hit by a car.

| "I was awfully little and I couldn't use my back legs very well. They just drug around behind me. Thank goodness a kind person brought me to PAWS. They took good care of me and I started to use my legs again. I loved to play with my kennel mate and climb into my hammock inside my kennel."

| "I spent several months at PAWS getting bigger and better. Finally Lindsey spotted me on Petfinder and sent an email to PAWS wanting to adopt me! Lindsey picked me out of hundreds of kittens online because she said my adorable little face melted her heart. It pays to be cute like me!"

"My new home was going to be in Des Moines. Marlene said I could hitch a ride with her since she was headed that way for a visit. I rode very quietly all the way there. I've never had a home before and I wasn't sure what to expect."

| 'I've been a very busy boy and I've learned so many fun things to do since I left the shelter. I love to play fetch with Lindsey's hair ties when she throws them for me. Sometimes I even wake Lindsey up at night to play the game. I guess it's more of a day time game tho as Lindsey doesn't think it's as much fun in the middle of the night. Go figure!'
